Help and Support

Provides bereavement and counselling support either over the phone or face to face to anyone over the age of 16;  a total of 51 trained counsellors providing support to their service users.

Also  provide support to anyone who has attempted suicide; as well as support any family or friends that may have been affected by a suicide or suicide attempt by someone that they know. Butterflies also have a ‘friendship buddies scheme’ this is provided through peer support groups and coffee mornings these can be attended by anyone over the age of 16 that would like to meet new people.
They also provide a buddy scheme over the phone where a volunteer of the organisation will give regular weekly 30 minute befriending calls.
