Hampshire & Isle of Wight Victim Care Service receives SafeLives Leading Lights Accreditation

Our Domestic Abuse team provides individual, tailored, and unbiased support to victims and survivors of Domestic Abuse. They have recently achieved the SafeLives Leading Lights Accreditation, a mark of quality for Domestic Abuse Services.

Sarah Woods, our Domestic Abuse and Children and Young People Team Leader, completed the SafeLives accredited Domestic Abuse Service Managers Training last year. Enabling the team to develop the service and undergo the rigorous Leading Lights Accreditation process.

Kathryn Hinchliff, Leading Lights Programme Lead, said:

“SafeLives is delighted to be able to award Leading Lights accreditation to Victim Support Hampshire’s new and innovative standard risk service. Our assessor was really impressed with the quality of support provided, and the ability of the service to reach clients who otherwise may not receive support”.

This achievement has been made possible by the commitment and hard work of the Domestic Abuse Team and we want to say a massive congratulations for this recognition.
