Hate Crime Awareness Week
Hate Crime Awareness Week , took place between the 9th and 16th October 2021. The Victim Care Service took part in events and awareness sessions with various partners across Hampshire including the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Hampshire, Restorative Justice Hampshire & Isle of Wight and Hampshire Constabulary.
Our key messages were about raising awareness of hate crime, how to report hate crime and support options for victims and witnesses of hate crime.
Thank you to everyone who spoke to us, took time to listen, asked questions and contributed to our hate crime pledges.
We will continue to raise awareness of hate crime in the community throughout the year, not just for Hate Crime Awareness Week.
You can report hate crime, anonymously if you wish, through any third party reporting centre.
