Help and Support

The Victim Care Service is an independent, free and confidential service  providing support to all residents of Hampshire and Isle of Wight who have been affected by crime.

The Victim Care Service is funded by The Police and Crime Commissioner, and is provided by Victim Support – a national charity with 43 years experience of helping victims.

We strive to help people cope and recover from their experience of crime, and empower them to move forward. We understand that each individual will be affected differently, and therefore our friendly team will be able to see how we can best help you.

No matter what the crime, or when it happened, or whether you have told the police, we will be there for you. We can talk through your options, provide specialist caseworkers, face to face support, security items, safety advice, advocacy,  and information provision on other services.
