Help and Support

Victim Support (VS) is a free, confidential and independent charity dedicated to supporting victims of crime and traumatic incidents in England and Wales.

In Hampshire and The  Isle of Wight, Victim Support provide the Victim Care Service which is funded by the Police and Crime Commissioner.

The purpose is to provide specialist help for anyone who has been affected by crime to help them cope and recover to the point where they feel they are back on track with their lives.

Support is available for anyone aged 4 years and above and regardless of whether the crime has been reported to the police. The caseworkers can provide face to face support, as well as the provision of free security items, safety advice, advocacy, as well as much more.
