Who we are
The Victim Care Service provides free, confidential support for victims of crime who are residents of Hampshire and the Isle of Wight aged 4 upwards. Our aim is to help you cope and recover from the effects of crime, regardless of whether or not you have reported to the police.
Funded by the Police and Crime Commissioner for Hampshire and the Isle of Wight, the Victim Care Service is delivered by Victim Support, the independent charity for people affected by crime and traumatic events in England and Wales.
You do not have to report a crime to the police to use the service.
Partnership Care Network
The Victim Care Service is here to help you get the support you need after crime. There are many other organisations and agencies that may also have a role to play in this, we call this the Partnership Care Network. We can help you find what services are available to you, either by speaking to one of our friendly team or you can take a look at the Partnership Care Network directory of services we have compiled here.
It is important to note that a listing here should not be regarded as an endorsement of a service or organisation by either the Victim Care Service or the Police & Crime Commissioner. We advise you to consider carefully the suitability of a service or organisation for your needs. Alternatively you can always get in touch with us and we’ll help you find the right support.
